Annual Camp Meeting Health Fair Helped Save a Life

SNEC Health Ministries volunteers and Bethesda Medical Mission served more than 125 people at the annual camp meeting health fair on Sunday, June 22. One of these guests was a return attendee who came back to say thank you.

Two years ago, at the health fair held at the Village church during camp meeting, dentist Brian Wilson (pictured above) conducted an oral cancer screening on a woman.  He discovered a lump and recommended that she follow up with her doctor. Sadly, her doctor did find cancer, but she received treatment and fully recovered. It’s likely her life was saved because of the health screening. She returned to share her testimony and express her gratitude.

In addition to free health screenings, this year’s health fair provided chair and hand massage and interactive education on the eight principles of health.

Sunday night, June 22, with Bill Knott:

Southern New England Conference welcomes home Bill Knott, a graduate of South Lancaster Academy and Atlantic Union College, who serves as the Associate Director of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He is the evening speaker from Sunday to Thursday, preaching on stories from the books of Luke and Acts.

You’ll be drawn into Knott's Sunday night sermon about Jesus who thrives on surprise and revels in imparting life . . . even to dying or paralyzed organizations and associations.  Click here for the entire sermon: English Campmeeting June 22 2025. The sermon starts at 1:16:35.
