SNEC Welcomes Doug Batchelor

United Camp Meeting 2026, Friday, June 26 & Sabbath, June 27

Doug Batchelor’s Friday Night Sermon: Have you ever been paralyzed by sin—maybe paralyzed both physically and spiritually? Doug Batchelor, well-known Amazing Facts president and speaker, presented the answer to this seemingly hopeless predicament in his sermon on Mark 2, titled “Jesus in the House.” Sometimes we need tenacious friends to help us get beyond the crowds and the distractions to reach Jesus. However God chooses to draw us to Himself, He desires to heal our body and forgive your sins. As Batchelor unpacked the rest of this Biblical story, he assured us that we will have our “bed to carry until Jesus comes.” But with Jesus’ power, like the paralytic who received healing, instead of the bed carrying us, we carry the bed and have a powerful message to share with our family and beyond.  To learn Batchelor’s “4 Ways to Reach Your Family,” and view his entire sermon, click here: United Campmeeting 6/26/2026 Friday at time stamp 1:17:00.

Doug Batchelor’s Sabbath Morning Sermon: Sometimes the most difficult gift for a Christian to give yet our most needed gift from God is forgiveness. In his Sabbath morning sermon, “Receiving and Giving Forgiveness,” Doug Batchelor showed how this characteristic of God is illustrated in the facts and numbers of Old Testament history and prophecy and revealed in many of Jesus’ parables. Doug Batchelor’s Sabbath Afternoon Sermon: Drawing on the story of the four lepers who decided to surrender to the Assyrian army that had laid siege to Samaria in 2 Kings 7, Batchelor laid out the steps to a relationship with Christ, from surrender to sharing the gospel with others. Praise God for three precious people who made a decision to follow Jesus in baptism!

Women’s Ministry Mission Story: Sandra Hinds, SNEC Women’s Ministry volunteer coordinator, and her team shared the success of the newly initiated annual Girls’ Retreat and a mission to trip to Dominican Republic where the SNEC women’s ministry team in collaboration with Upward Movement Ministries, the Atlantic Union Conference and the Asociación Dominicana del Este (Eastern Dominican Conference) taught local women (and one man!) how to sew and provided each one a sewing machine to start a business with which to support their families.

United Camp Meeting Finale: Gospel singer, Odayne Rhoden, gave a United Camp Meeting finale concert on Sabbath evening with a choir full of backup singers from across the SNEC, a truly uplifting collaboration of praise.  He interspersed the songs with his testimony of incredible answers to prayer.  Click here to view the entire concert: United Campmeeting 6/27/2026 Concert.
