Prayer Ministries

Welcome to Southern New England Conference Prayer Ministries!

Friend, we are very glad you are visiting the SNEC Prayer Ministries page. Here you will be encouraged to seek God more and have a closer walk with Him. We believe that as we get closer to God He gets closer to us, and He is only a prayer away.

For prayer is a direct way of communication to our Heavenly Father, and the more we communicate with Him, the more our relationship with Him grows. As we pray more He blesses us more. That is exactly what He has been waiting for - to bless us, and to bless us more abundantly than our wildest imagination.

He is saying to you today, “… you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart”
- Jeremiah 29:12-13.

He knows your weaknesses, your tribulations, and all the trials of your life. That is why these two men of faith, Paul and Isaiah, strongly encourage believers by saying, “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God”
- Philippians 4:6.

“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint”
- Isaiah 40:29-31.

God invites us to seek Him and if we do so His blessings will not fail because “Every sincere prayer is heard in heaven. It may not be fluently expressed; but if the heart is in it, it will ascend to the sanctuary where Jesus ministers, and He will present it to the Father without one awkward, stammering word, beautiful and fragrant with the incense of His own perfection” - The Desire of Ages, 667.

So, we would like to encourage you to make use of such a privilege and necessity that prayer is, and pray more. It is our desire that our Loving Father in heaven continues to bless you with the assurance that He will answer all your prayers.

Again, Welcome! May God continue to bless you.

Sincerely,

Pr. Joseph Piresson
