RTSDA Members Light Up the Night with the Message of Jesus’ Soon Return

Rockville-Tolland SDA church members bring the light of Jesus' soon coming to a local Fourth of July celebration with specially made bags of literature from Amazing Facts ministry.

This year, Fourth of July celebrations took on special meaning because this year marked our nation's 250^th anniversary.  Vernon, Connecticut's "July in the Sky Fireworks Show," held on July 8, was no exception to this rule.  At this fireworks display, one could feel the palpable emotion of American pride wafting through the air. 

Seven members of the Rockville-Tolland SDA Church (RTSDA) bravely marched into this event with the idea to quietly share America’s role in Bible prophecy and Jesus’ soon return. The goal was to distribute 100 Amazing Facts Religious Freedom 250 bags, filled with Biblically based prophetic literature.  This evangelistic effort, spearheaded by RTSDA member, Lisa Wroniak, was a success!

With a few exceptions, fireworks attendees all accepted the bags.  One member's canvassing line was "Happy Birthday!", in reference to America's 250th anniversary.  Upon hearing this simple yet familiar phrase, they gladly received the books.  People were extremely grateful, and one even stated, "God bless you, honey. You're doing good work."
