The Southern New England Conference Education Department is thrilled to announce an exciting milestone in our commitment to providing cutting-edge educational experiences for our students. Thanks to the generous support of our Plus One donors, we are launching our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) initiative with a significant first step: equipping all ten of our schools with top-of-the-line 3D printers.
Bringing Innovation to Every Classroom
This spring marks the beginning of a transformative journey for SNEC education. Each of our schools will receive a state-of-the-art 3D printer, complete with the filament needed to begin creating, innovating, and bringing ideas to life. These tools will empower our students to engage with technology in hands-on, meaningful ways that prepare them for the future.
“This is just the beginning,” our education leadership emphasized. “We are interested in enhancing our curriculum across the board through all the major academic studies with practical, current equipment and techniques to help our students become better, productive workers when they graduate.”
Preparing Educators for Success
To ensure our schools can maximize the potential of this new technology, we’re hosting a comprehensive workshop for all principals this spring. School leaders will receive hands-on training in operating the 3D printers and integrating them effectively into their curriculum. This professional development will equip our educators with the knowledge and confidence to guide students in exploring the possibilities of 3D printing technology.
See STEAM in Action at Camp Meeting
We invite our entire conference membership to witness the impact of this initiative firsthand. This summer at camp meeting, you’ll have the opportunity to see the 3D printers in action and learn about the incredible projects our schools are developing. It’s a celebration of what’s possible when our community comes together to invest in Christian education.
Plus One: Making Innovation Possible
This STEAM initiative is a direct result of the Plus One program, which allows members across our conference to make a tangible difference in the lives of our students. Your Plus One contributions funded the purchase of these 3D printers, the training programs, and the ongoing support needed to make this vision a reality.
“This is proof that Plus One is working for us,” our leadership shared with gratitude.

A Vision for the Future
The introduction of 3D printers is just the first chapter in our STEAM story. Our vision extends far beyond this initial investment. We are committed to continuously enhancing our curriculum across all major academic disciplines, ensuring our students have access to practical, current equipment and innovative teaching techniques.
Our goal is clear: to prepare students who are not only academically excellent but also equipped with the practical skills, creative thinking, and technological literacy needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Join Us in This Exciting Journey
This is an exciting time for SNEC education, and we’re grateful for a community that believes in the power of quality Christian education. Together, we’re building a future where our students can explore, create, innovate, and grow into the leaders God has called them to be.
Thank you to every Plus One supporter who has made this possible. Your investment in our schools is an investment in the next generation of Seventh-day Adventist leaders, thinkers, and servants.
