Position:  Teacher Grades 1-4, Bayberry Christian School 

 

Description: Bayberry Christian School has an opening for a teacher for grades 1-4 with the possibility of team teaching with the grades 5-8 teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. We are a grades 1-8 elementary school comprised of a culturally diverse and ethnic student body located on the Cape Cod peninsula in the state of Massachusetts.  We are a ministry of the Cape Cod Seventh-day Adventist church providing families with an affordable, Christ-centered education in an accepting and loving environment, focusing on individualized attention, motivating children to grow academically, spiritually, physically, and empowering them to lead a life of success and service, both in this life and in the world to come. 

Experience: The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and some teaching experience.  It is preferred that the candidate have good bilingual communication (English and Portuguese), technology, and classroom management skills. Position:  Teacher Grades 7-8th, Cedar Brook 

 

Cedar Brook School is seeking a full-time 7-8th grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year and beyond. We are seeking a teacher who is caring, dedicated and models God’s love. The candidate needs to be a strong team player and must be able to deliver instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods and hands-on activities. The classroom is large with lots of room to set up engaging learning activities. Cedar Brook School is blessed with supportive parents and active Church communities.

Cedar Brook is a K-8 elementary school located off Route 44 in Rehoboth, MA. Our school was named after the beautiful cedar trees and bubbling brook that runs through our breathtaking 12.9-acre property. Cedar Brook began in the fall of 1961 and has a rich history of strong academics with a spiritual focus. We offer an excellent program for students starting with a full day Pre-School, Pre-K, and K-8 grade.  We have small class sizes, caring staff, and an emphasis on high academic standards. 

Experience: Candidate must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist who holds current NAD Elementary Certification and a Bachelor’s degree. Experience with project-based learning is strongly desired.

Position:  Teacher Grades 3-4, Cedar Brook 

 

Description: Cedar Brook School is seeking a 3-4th grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. CBS is a PK-8 elementary school located off Route 44 in Rehoboth, MA. Our school was named after the beautiful cedar trees and the babbling brook that runs through our breathtaking 12.9-acre property. Our PK-8 program is currently run by a principal, six teachers, support staff, and our loving and generous church constituency's strong financial support. CBS is thriving due to quality leadership, solid educational practice, and a grounding in their mission to lead children to Jesus. Our new 3/4 grade teacher's responsibilities will include teaching all subjects, weekly lesson planning, grading, and daily/weekly feedback and communication with students, parents, and staff. Ideal candidates will be able to articulate their love of Jesus in a way that reaches, supports, and nurtures young minds in their understanding of Christ and their compassion for their fellow human beings. Cedar Brook has introduced a Lego Robotics and Agricultural program this year and is seeking teachers who may have experience in those areas and can add their passion to our growing program. 

 

Experience: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, possess a valid denominational certification for elementary grades, and must be a baptized Seventh-day Adventist. Experience teaching elementary grades is preferred. Applicants must be able to provide evidence of the legal right to work in the United States. Position:  Principal Position, Cedar Brook 

 

Description: Seeking a full-time principal at Cedar Brook Seventh-day Adventist School in Rehoboth, MA. CBS is conveniently located off Route 44 in Rehoboth, MA. Cedar Brook School is seeking an experienced and dedicated educator to lead its educational team. CBS has a diverse, mission-driven program that has been on fire for the last few years. We are seeking a relationship-driven, strong leader who is eager to continue to keep this fire going!  CBS seeks a principal who has a passion for STEM and project-based learning and will strongly support the school’s new agricultural educational program. The ability to balance love and respect for staff, students, and families with integrity, professionalism, and academic excellence is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clear organizational skills, a willingness to cooperatively adapt to the evolving needs of health and safety, mentoring and discipleship passion, collaborative leadership skills, technological proficiencies, a passion for growing God’s children, and the ability to support the teaching staff. 

Experience: Minimum: B.S. degree and current NAD Elementary or Administrative Certification. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Position:  Greater Boston Academy Teacher, Year 2022-23 

 

Description: Greater Boston Academy is a thriving SDA school with early childhood, elementary and middle school grades, PreS-8th grade. God is blessing and we are growing! Because of this wonderful growth, we are splitting some combined grade levels for 2022-23 and are in need of 2 additional teachers, one in elementary and one in middle school, who are excited to help us with this growth. We currently have 175 students PreS-8th grade and 20 regular employees with an active volunteer presence to coordinate with our employees.

  • Candidates need to have a love for God and children and a commitment to helping students achieve their best with God’s help.
  • Candidates should be effective communicators, organized, creative, and able to teach all subjects with dedication and the expectation of a high level of learning from the students.
  • Candidates should be able to develop innovative lesson plans to effectively engage the students.
  • Candidates must be able to interact comfortably with parents and guardians in a polite and respectful manner.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with technology and have a basic knowledge of STEM.

Greater Boston Academy has been in existence for over 100 years. We are located in Stoneham, Massachusetts, about 15 minutes’ drive north of Boston. The school is in a quiet suburban neighborhood with many walking trails not far from the school and some lovely lakes in the area. There are also many cultural and historical experiences located not far from us in Boston, Concord, Lexington, and other towns in driving distance. The school is set well back from the street and has a playing field and playground. There are woods around three sides of the school. We have seen many miracles and blessings from God and we see Him at work in our school every day. Our faculty, staff, students and families are one family together as we share each other’s joys and help bear each other’s burdens.

Experience: The candidate is expected to be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing, and must be willing to model SDA Christian beliefs and lifestyle. The candidate must have at minimum a bachelor’s degree in education. If the candidate does not currently have NAD teaching certification, he or she must be willing to work diligently to obtain certification.
