On April 23, the Southern New England Conference Executive Committee voted to elect Edgardo Herrera as president of the Southern New England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, effective immediately.  He succeeds Bob Folkenberg, Jr., who was elected earlier this year to serve as president of the Greek Mission.

Prior to his election, Herrera served as executive secretary of the Southern New England Conference (SNEC). He also previously served as the SNEC Hispanic Ministries coordinator and the associate ministerial director.

We are pleased to welcome Herrera as SNEC's new leader, and we invite you to keep him in prayer as he begins his new responsibilities.
