Worcester SDA School: Instructional Aide Position

The Worcester SDA School (WSDAS) is seeking a grade K-3 Instructional Aide for
the 2025-2026 school year to augment its current K-8 Elementary School program. The school is
located in Worcester, MA on Airport Drive. The school is based in the Worcester SDA Church on a
multi-acre lot with playground, large open spaces and forest. Our K-8 program is currently run by
two teachers, our supportive school board and a consistent generous church constituency's strong
financial support. WSDAS is committed to the mission of leading children to Jesus and preparing
them academically for high school and beyond. Our Instructional Aide or local hire’s responsibilities
will include, but are not limited to:

● Assist in the teaching of all subjects in the K-3 classroom with the corresponding teacher.
● Implement the parts of the Kindergarten curriculum to the Kindergarteners in a pull out
setting.
● Prepare weekly or unit lesson plans for the designated classes taught independently and
submit them to the Principal.
● Assist with grading the kindergarteners assignments.
● Share regular weekly feedback and communication about students with parents, and staff.
● Collaborate with other teachers in the overall routines of the school day.
● Participate in morning teacher devotionals at 7:30 a.m.
● Participate in Staff meetings on Thursday afternoons.
● Communicate freely and openly with the principal and fellow teachers.

Ideal candidates will be able to articulate their love of Jesus in a way that reaches, supports, and
nurtures young minds in their understanding of Christ’s love and their compassion for their fellow
human beings.

Experience: Eligible applicants must be baptized Seventh-day Adventists. Experience as a teacher,
teacher’s aide, nanny or Children’s minister is preferred. Applicants must be able to provide
