POSITION SUMMARY
The Property Manager will interface directly with the Conference Treasurer and the Association Secretary to ensure SNEC properties are safe and attractive. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintenance and oversight of SNECA assets.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure proper operation of all plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, and make minor repairs at SNEC office, Campmeeting buildings, and tenant occupied spaces.
- Perform duties necessary of the Campmeeting Superintendent.
- Coordinate relocation of SNEC employees and retirees, imparting SNEC/NAD relocation policies and procedures.
- Coordinate capital improvements and minor repairs at Parsonages.
- Deal with property acquisition and disposition.
- Facilitate and assist churches and schools with major building projects, guiding each through SNEC policies and guidelines. This includes the selection of architects, engineers, construction managers, and contractors.
- Supervise and facilitate the preparation of the campground facilities and buildings for seasonal and intermittent events.
- Supervise the hiring of part-time, seasonal staff to perform grounds, maintenance, relocation, and Campmeeting duties, recommending the seasonal hires to HR for approval.
- Work with churches and schools to properly title, register and insure vehicles and property.
- Maintain accurate records for all vehicles, including registration, title and insurance.
- Guiding local churches and schools through the process of improving and maintaining their facility, following municipal and Conference policies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Treasurer.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel Requirements:
-Expected to travel up to 40-50% within the Southern New England territory (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut).
- Occasional travel to Atlantic Union Conference (AUC) and North American Division (NAD) events and meetings and global events.
- This role requires 60-70% monthly travel within the conference territory for church property visits, purchase reviews, meetings, and participation in Conference activities and events.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling office supplies.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Visual acuity to read computer screens, documents, and spreadsheets.
- Clear verbal communication for phone calls and in-person interactions.
- Regular use of standard office equipment, such as computers, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of items up to 20 pounds.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public/nonprofit administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Class B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements
- MA Hoisting Engineer 1C & 2A Licenses
- Minimum 3 years of residential/commercial property management experience preffered
- Knowledge of property management, real estate transactions, and asset stewardship (nonprofit/faith-based preferred)
- Experience coordinating building projects and capital improvements
- Ability to interpret municipal regulations, zoning, and Conference guidelines
- Experience working with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with cultural sensitivity
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to lead collaboratively
- General knowledge of building inspections, automotive maintenance, and MS Office Suite
