WHAT IT IS
Three strands, one cord
"A threefold cord is not quickly broken."
Ecclesiastes 4:12 (ESV)
The mission before us is larger than our plans, our talent, or our effort. Prayer 70 invites every member, alone or together, to cover the work of God in Southern New England with prayer. It is meant to be life-giving, not burdensome.
1
United In Prayer
Partners and teams pray together, so leaders, pastors, teachers, and ministries are always covered.
2
Empowered to act
Prayer prepares us to serve, to lead, and to step out with courage.
Daniel 11:32
3
Dependent on God
Every victory belongs to the Lord. Prayer is how we say, “I cannot do this without You.”
Psalm 108:13

HOW TO JOIN
Pray in the way that fits you
On your own
Choose one prayer time and set a daily reminder. Private prayer is the foundation of the cord.
With a partner
Agree with one other person to pray at the same time each day, even from different places.
On a team
Join your church's Prayer 70 team and help keep a ring covered. Ask your pastor or elder.
Grace, not perfection. If you mis a prayer time, simply begin again. The strength of the cord is united hearts, not a perfect schedule
Psalm 55:17 (ESV)
THE COVENANT
A Prayer of Commitment
The covenant is voluntary. It is a response to God's invitation, not a contract. Pray it alone, or read it together as a church board, class, or team.
In the presence of God, and relying fully on His grace, I enter into this Prayer Covenant as an act of faith and surrender.
I acknowledge that prayer is not my strength, but my dependence on God.
With a willing heart, I commit to seek God regularly in prayer, to lift before Him the leadership and mission of the Southern New England Conference, and to intercede for pastors, educators, leaders, and disciples serving His work.
I covenant to pray in unity with others, to remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and to allow prayer to shape my actions, attitudes, and obedience.
By God's grace, I offer myself anew: united in prayer, empowered to act, and fully dependent on Him.
Amen.
YOUTH & CHILDREN
You are one of the
strands
Samuel heard God as a boy. David prayed while keeping sheep. Mary said yes to God as a teenager. God has always listened to young voices. You don't need long words, only an honest heart.

FROM THE PRESIDENT
Covered in Prayer
The work before us cannot be sustained by planning, talent, or effort alone. As we train and send disciples into more than 500 towns, villages, and cities across our territory, may we go covered in prayer, filled with the Holy Spirit, and confident that God is already at work ahead of us. Thank you for joining me in this sacred calling.
