About the Event
The Southern New England Conference invites local church elders to Elders Retreat 2026, a special day dedicated to spiritual renewal, leadership development, fellowship, and ministry equipping.
Under the theme “Called to Serve, Equipped to Lead,” this retreat is designed to encourage and strengthen elders as they continue serving their local congregations. Throughout the day, participants will have opportunities to be refreshed in Christ, grow in their leadership, connect with fellow elders, and renew their sense of purpose and mission.
Inspired by 1 Peter 5:2 — “Shepherd the flock of God which is among you…”, the retreat is an opportunity to step away from the responsibilities of everyday ministry and spend intentional time growing spiritually and preparing to lead with greater purpose.

Each church is encouraged to send a minimum of two elders. Pastors are warmly invited to attend and participate, though pastoral attendance is not required. Lunch will be provided. Please note that there will be no children's program, and regular Sabbath attire is encouraged.
