    A Second Memorial Service will be for Dawn Patino will be at Westbrook, Connecticut

    When: Sunday, November 11th at 2:00pm.

    Where: Teresa Mulvey Municipal Center Multimedia Room

    Family states: "Dawn was our sunshine with the never ending smile and her favorite color was yellow, so the family is requesting you wear something yellow to her services."

    For All Bible Studies...

    • We meet at a local church and study the Bible in ASL (voice interpretation available if hearing people want to join).

    • We have Bible study & enjoy DEAF fellowship.

    • There will be a potluck lunch, so please bring food to share.

    ASL Beginners Classes

    ASL beginner classes will begin in September.  Deaf instructors, Joelle Cator and 

    Sandra Bass will be running the classes.  

    The classes will held at:  12th Baptist Church, 160 Warren St., Roxbury.

    We meet at a local church where worship services are interpreted.  Followed by a potluck lunch and Deaf Bible study in ASL (this will be voice interpreted if hearing people want to join us). Come and enjoy DEAF fellowship and PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING FOOD TO SHARE FOR LUNCH. RSVP directly to Jessica McGowan-Smith promptly to reserve your space on the van.

    Please note: This special DEAF event will also have a meeting with the Deaf group in the Bronx, to help them set up their own Deaf ministry for their area and the Greater New York Conference.  Pastor Manual Rosario, Personal Ministries Director for the Greater New York Conference will be there.  All who are interested in seeing a Deaf Ministry in Greater New York Conference should come to this meeting.

    Camp Cherokee is located in the Adirondack Mountains on a beautiful Saranac Lake. Camp guests will sleep in cabins and healthy vegetarian meals are all included.  Activities include: Boating, Horse Back Riding, Crafts, Canoeing, Knee-boarding, Wake-boarding, Kayaking, Hiking, Swimming, and more.
