Principal PreS-12: Greater Boston Academy

Greater Boston Academy is seeking a qualified individual to lead GBA in the completion of our 5-year Strategic Plan and continue to move our school forward in providing our community with the highest quality of Adventist education.
 
Qualified candidates will possess a compassion for their students, faculty, and staff, placing their needs first above his/her own. Obviously, the standard qualities in a leader are necessary: collaborative leadership, spirituality, communication, organization, understanding of finances and curriculum, able to see the big picture, team builder, and an all-around nice person. We also prefer you to have administrator certification, Masters in Ed Admin, and experience.

Grades 7/8 Teacher:  Greater Boston Academy
 
Description: Greater Boston Academy has been in operation for over 100 years and is located in the town of Stoneham, which is in the northern part of the Greater Boston area. If you enjoy the change in seasons and the occasional nor'easter in the winter, then New England is the place to live and GBA is a great school and community to be a part of. GBA is seeking qualified candidates who have a passion to work with middle school students. God bless middle school teachers, you are truly blessed to work with them!
 
Experience: Qualifications include appropriate college education and Adventist teaching credentials in elementary ed. Experience is preferred, but not required. Vice Principal: South Lancaster Academy
 
Description: South Lancaster Academy (SLA) is seeking a full-time P-12 Vice Principal for the 2018-19 school year. SLA is a PP-12 grade school with rich cultural and ethnic diversity. We are an 18 teacher, 1 principal and 1 vice principal PK-12 school, located on a large campus in Central Massachusetts. As a day school, we serve 300 students from the surrounding communities, and have been in operations since 1882. South Lancaster is approximately 45 miles west of Boston in a historic town with deep Adventist roots. Whether you love hiking, water sports, skiing, or fishing, we have it all! We are supported by five active constituent churches, a dedicated administrative team, and a motivated Home and School group, School Board and Alumni Association, all committed to SLA's success and mission for the future. SLA is seeking a Vice Principal that will implement the mission and vision of the school of academic rigor, service, and spiritual leadership to students and their families and the faculty/staff.
 
Experience: The ideal VP must have strong organizational, technology and communication skills, the ability to engage parents, support teachers, and facilitate best practices for students. The VP must be able to set clear expectations for student behavior to ensure a safe campus for all. The VP should demonstrate strong skills in building relationships as part of the administrative team. The applicant should be an active member of an SDA church and have current NAD certification.
